What's the difference between site hosting and site maintenance? If I pick site maintenance, do I have to pay both the hosting and maintenance fees?

Site hosting is a basic hosting service. It costs less than site maintenance, because the hosting plan assumes that you will be updating and changing your site yourself. If there are any changes to your site that you want us to make for you, under the site hosting plan you would have to pay us the $35.00/hr Design fee in order for us to make those changes.

The site maintenance plan is far more convenient. Most people who run web sites don't have time to update and maintain them: they have their business to run. If you pick a site maintenance plan, and you want changes made to your site, simply provide us with those changes, and we will make them for you. The site maintenance plan includes hosting in its monthly fee--you do not have to pay both fees in order to be on the site maintenance plan.

What's covered in the site maintenance plan?

Generally, it covers all textual modifications to your page. You, however, must provide the content--we will not write it for you. The site maintenance plan includes the addition of new "news" articles, modifications of existing content, search engine submission, email broadcasting of newsletters (no spamming), and any other textual modifications you might want to make to your existing pages.

What's not covered in the site maintenance plan?

The site maintenance plan does not cover:

• New graphics or modified graphics
• Content creation (writing/composing/editing your text)
• New web pages (not including "news" articles you might want to add)
• Maintenance of "dynamic" content (deletion of discussion board messages, etc.)
• "Spamming"--the sending of unsolicited commercial email. If you build a mailing list, be sure it is an "opt-in" list. If we find that you are spamming people  We will terminate your account immediately.
